Texas Bound Bible Beaters Motor Club will soon be starting a new chapter in the Austin, Texas area. This is a huge change for the club and is taking place due to the recent decision of BBMC president Levi Green and his wife to move to the Austin area. We will fill you in on the details later in our blog, but for now you should know that BBMC will remain in the Chicago area. BBMC member Lance Nelson has been given the role of president for the Chicago chapter. He is also involved in helping out the Holy Rollers Hot Rod Church and the Automotive Mentoring Group in Bedford Park, IL. They have plans to continue the ministry in the area by attending car shows and local swap meets. Please contact us via e-mail if you would like to get involved with these guys. E-mail: biblebeatersmotorclub@yahoo.com BBMC Texas Begins We are excited to announce the blast-off of the Texas chapter of Bible Beaters Motor Club. You know the saying, “Everything is bigger in Texas”. Well we are looking forward to the big things God is going to do down there. After talking with a local pastor, we hear that there is a huge need for the gospel message to be heard down there. It seems that many people in that area are either atheists, or they have grown up in the “Bible Belt” and think they are christians, but really their lives are showing no spiritual change. Please pray for us as we look for the ways in which God is going to use us. He has already set up resources for us and has placed other Christian car enthusiasts in our path that are willing and eager to get this thing going. We will have access to a local hot rod shop for certain club projects and other ministry uses. Praise God for his goodness and providence. Other News This quarter *BBMC is smart phone friendly! At least the Texas chapter is... We have recently signed up with Squareup.com. It is a convenient way to receive donation money via credit card. If you see us at a show or at the gas station and would like to help out our ministry financially, just let one of us know and we can accept your donation with one swipe. The funds go directly into our club bank account that can then be used for future ministry needs. *BBMC member Nick Anderson is a very talented automotive artist. He has just recently completed a rendering of what we hope the “Blaze of Glory” might look like someday.
